He did the scream! I could not even participate in that thread about the scream... Listen to Joe on the slide guitar, joeys drums, and Toms bass line. That is what makes the song, not the scream.

I agree. I really couldn't care less about the scream.

No, it's definitely the scream and the vocals that save the song. The songs is just flat...I would definitely enjoy it live because when they're there they could fart and I'd be: OMFG anyway!

I'm a bit tired of Rag Doll. I don't mind Monkey for awhile longer, but would rather they bring back something else. I actually don't care all that much for Kings and Queens either so wouldn't mind them dropping that too next tour. But whatever. The only song I really can't stand is IDWTMAT... oh.. and from MFAD "Can't Stop Loving You." UGH. My opinion of course. LOL

Monkey is not one that I would put on my wish list to see live. Not a bad song, just not a great song. LIve it seems to have more punch than on record, so I might be swayed if I saw it concert. But quite frankly, not a big fan of the slide guitar in this context.

to be honest I dont understand how people who enjoy the rougher edged Aerosmith don't like Monkey ......the only difference between this song and many of their rocking 70's tunes is the dated 80's PUMP production.....this song SMOKES live

I absolutely love it. It's my favourite post-comeback song and right up there with the best '70s stuff. And live it's even better.

Its not a big favorite of mine, but out of the 2nd generation stuff I think its an excellent choice to put in the setlist.

Well it's not bad, Pump rocks and is cool but I think there way better songs on that album like Young Lust, Voodoo/Hoodoo or even The Other Side which I think is more appealing, especially live. The presence of Money tho proves that they are willing to reharse underplayed songs and that's a positive thing.

I would take FINE, or even My Girl, over The Other Side.

I'd love to see My Girl performed. It's the only Pump track I've never seen them do. Have they ever done it, and if not, why? It's an actual later day Tyler/Perry composition, and nothing overly complicated. It's punchy, and would likely be a fun little live number.
The Winterthur '90 boot lists it, but it's actually Hearts Done Time. I remember being a little disappointed by that.
