Eek. If the set I saw tonight is true, it doesn't bode well for SF on Wednesday. And that's the only show that matters, because I'm going, of course!

Horrible set list. Just horrible. So glad I was able to Vegas if the trend is going toward the fluffy hits.

There are some songs in there that I'd love to see live, but overall... Definitely the weakest set so far.

There are a couple I wouldn't mind seeing again but overall, they went downhill. Maybe they changed the tour name to "Let Pop Rule." I think what really makes it horrible is that they took out several great songs in favor of these new additions.

01. Love In An Elevator as opener (F) when compared to what's in the arsenal 02. Cryin'.....................F 03. Pink.....................F so far this is not your daddy's Aerosmith concert 04. Livin' On The Edge......F..usually sucks all the energy out of the place, but that's not possible on this night 05. Kings And Queens......B+ because @this point I'm at the beer stand or taking a shit & missing it anyway 06. Toys In The Attic.........B+ Toys & Kings brilliantly illustrate how lame this show is & at the same time how awesome it could have been, ironic isn't it? 07. Rag Doll...................C- I like rag doll, but not so much in this mess 08. Stop Messin' Around................ C+ 09. Jaded.....................................F 10. Same Old Song And Dance........A+ 11. Lord Of The Thighs..................A+ again, demonstrating the inconsistency within the band 12. Janie's Got A Gun....................C I like Janie, but it's not a kick ass song live & only dampens any momentum 13. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing....F- Get over it Steven 14. Dude (Looks Like A Lady).........F Cheesy out dated fluff, I suppose it kinda fits this set 15. Walk This Way................D..for typical placement and so over played, it's just worn out Encore: 16. Dream On...............................A+
17. Sweet Emotion.........................A+ although getting old as a closer
Pretty lame. I was thinking of going to AC at the end of the month since I missed Boston but this gives me pause. It's really annoying that they can't recognize when they regress in terms of set list making. Has any other band ever been so scrutinized or at odds with set lists with their hard core fans?

cryin inthe second spot and then immediately pink just makes no sense to me! Janie is boring and after IDWTMAT? C'mon...Rag Doll needs to disappear. Pretty lame setlist for me as well, especially for the order for rag doll and for janie. I like Pink, Jaded and IDWTMAT but the songs order is just terrible, I bet it was a boring show.

Wow, what a turnaround from best sets in a long time to meh. Here is what sucks about this set:
1. Set keeps shrinking....down to 17 songs now. I would not be happy paying these kinds of ticket prices for 17 songs! How long before it goes down to 16....15? They should be playing 20. 2. Saddle, Monkey, Eat the Rich, Big 10 and No More have all been dropped.....and Pink, Jaded and Janie have been added. This is NOT a fair trade! If they wanted to bring some of those songs back, swap them out for IDWTMAT, Rag Doll and Edge. 3. The first four songs are just brutal. Not that I necessarily have a problem with any of them, per se....but in that order? The first four songs should be hard-rocking and getting the audience pumped up. No slower tempo songs until the #5 slot, at least. The way this is set up, there is absolutely no momentum or excitement whatsoever. 4. Elevator is a terrible opener. It's fine in the second, third or fourth slot. There are SO MANY good songs to open with. What happened to Saddle? 5. I thought we were done with Jaded. If they insist on playing it, PLEASE dump IDWTMAT. There is no reason both of those songs should be played in the same show.
On the positive side, at least they are still playing K&Q and Thighs.

Pretty bad ass from slots 5 - 11 but way too inconsistent other than that.. Any setlist with Jaded, IDWMAT and Cryin in it, needs to be revamped. Weak opening group of songs..
Best songs.. Thighs, Kings and Queens, SASAD I love Dream On and Sweet Emotion but they are getting pretty tired as encores every night.
01. Love In An Elevator C+ I prefer old school for an opener.. 02. Cryin' F 03. Pink C 04. Livin' On The Edge D- 05. Kings And Queens A+ 06. Toys In The Attic A- 07. Rag Doll B- 08. Stop Messin' Around B- 09. Jaded F 10. Same Old Song And Dance A+ 11. Lord Of The Thighs A+ 12. Janie's Got A Gun F 13. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing F 14. Dude (Looks Like A Lady) B- 15. Walk This Way B-
Encore: 16. Dream On A- 17. Sweet Emotion A-

The rest of you have said it all. Honestly, when I checked last night and saw Since1976's posting of the setlist, I thought he must be punking us. Now way. Aerosmith has forgotten the West Coast likes to rock too. I was ruing the fact that I wasn't going to the Bay Area Show. Not any more. Sad.

I am certain anyone paying the kind of money Allstate Ins did demands songs, Aerosmith saw the reaction and now being confused on what to do brought the set list to the next show.
Joe twitter:
Joe Perry @joeperry · Aug 5 Thanks to Allstate I for having us play tonight. Felt like a frat house party. The band & crowd all came together as one.

If they insist on playing it, PLEASE dump IDWTMAT. There is no reason both of those songs should be played in the same show. On the positive side, at least they are still playing K&Q and Thighs. Totally agree...I've been to concerts where there were jaded, cryin, pink, rag doll and IDWTMA all together but in a better order well mixed with rocking stuff so it was fun and balanced and with 18-19 at least. This setlist doesn't make any sense, it seems like a random greatest hits playlist made by a deaf. But I have to say that I like Elevator as an opener, I think it's way stronger than saddle because it has that "oooh oooh" hook that everyone knows and that "mmmm mmmmm" at the beginning that makes you think: omg this is it, it's starting now! But honestly, if it was up to me Elevator wouldn't be in the setlist in the first place but I also know that they need to play a fair amount of hits to have a balanced, iconic set that showcases their whole career and please the majority of the crowd which is definitely not made by die hards who know every single song they've recorded like we do. This doesn't justify an unbalanced setlist like this one, especially in the States where they've been huge since the 70s when they had 6 albums. I keep on sayin the same thing, if they want to put more modern songs why can't they just rotate some of their singles? Not all of them, they can leave cryin but by replacing rag doll, edge, elevator, jaded I bet they can have some extra spots for late 80s and 90s stuff, even MFAD songs if they want to but why dropping 70s gems? Big Ten Inch was a really good treat, I can understand the absence of Saddle as Joe said it's painful and difficult for him to play and honestly No More No More has been played steadily for the last 3 years but change it for Janie's REALLY?? Why not Uncle Salty or Sick As A Dog? Then 17 songs is just pathetic for the price of the tickets, I would understand it for a show in the range of 60-120$ with lots of rockers that are heavy on Steven's voice but for a greatest hits like this one is outragous.
