Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer denies he has heart problems as band resume US tourAerosmith resumed their tour in Quincy, Washington last night (August 16) after drummer Joey Kramer's illness forced the band to cancel shows earlier this week. As previously reported, the US rockers cancelled a gig in Concord, California on August 13 due to "illness". Reports suggested that Joey Kramer had heart complications and that a source close to the band said that Kramer has had heart issues in the past and would require heart surgery. However, as reported by Billboard, Kramer returned to the stage at The Gorge venue and, after saying that he "has no history of a heart condition", issued the following statement: "I'm feeling better than ever and I'll be back sitting in the best seat in the house, hitting it harder than ever for our amazing fans. My gratitude and thanks for all the love and support showered on me during this time. Feelin good feelin groovy feelin great !!! Nothin keeps the Kramedog down." Actor Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance on stage with Aerosmith last month (July 16), joining the band in a performance of blues song 'Train Kept A-Rollin''. Performing at Download earlier this summer, Aerosmith covered The Beatles' 'Come Together' as they brought the festival to a close with a hit-packed set. Terrible and irresponsible. But I see it all the time, not just with Aerosmith or music, but in all areas. I really don't trust the media anymore.

I'm confused. Why was the show canceled?

Pet peeve: What in the world does Johnny Depp's performance with the band at a previous show have to do with the primary topic of this story? That is lame reporting. The end of the peeve.

^ Exactly. That was part II of the really bad reporting. Part III was mentioning that Aerosmith covered Come Together recently. Gee, oh really? They've only been doing that for what, 38 years or so now?

I saw in another article that Aerosmith was heading to Sydney, Australia on Sept. 12 after their tour of the U.S. and Canada.
Um, no...they are going to Sydney, Nova Scotia on Sept. 12. Nova Scotia is part of Canada.
Morons.

Nova Scotia is part of Canada. Morons. Yes.. that was absolutely ridiculous because they're playing in Michigan about 3 days before that. I believe it would take a full 24 hours at least to get to Australia and then they also lose a day crossing the international date line.

This is nothing to do with the original story, but it made me think of this thread anyway when I saw it. Not only is the title wrong, but the damn lyric isn't even right.
