Even acoustic(well mostly, I think one guitar & the bass are lightly amplified). So good. I'm hooked. A Rock N Roll band!!!

My thoughts on Electric Blood: I listened to the first 9 songs (9 may be the last song, not sure yet) on the way home. What struck me as I was approaching home was the fact that I actually listened to all those new songs in a row and never felt bored or irritated once. This means a lot, considering that I still haven't made it all the way (or even close) through Metallica's new album yet. It seems the older I get, the more I want to hear something familiar rather than trying to force myself into liking new music, but with this album it was a breeze and a joy even. The songwriting is top notch, the guitar tone is great, the vocalist is not overbearing but still has his own style, and the drums stand out, in a good way. The music feels fresh yet somehow familiar at the same time, without sounding like a ripoff of any other band in particular. The last time I was able to listen to this many songs in a row without getting bored was when I was discovering Collective Soul. Overall Grade so far: 90-95 The songs sound natural, unforced, and undeniably catchy. The song structure seems simple but the execution is perfect and there's so much attitude. The guitar tone sounds like the best of the 70's and the vocals sound like the best of the 80's. The closest bands I can compare the sound to is Big Star and Cheap Trick. With modern bands its rare to find a frontman with completely convincing vocals. Biters and Rival Sons certainly have this, a big part of why I like them so much.

Another one of my favorite new bands. I really enjoy acoustic performances like this.

Brand new Biters track. Got the T.Rex Electric Warrior vibe going especially in the verse, love it! New album coming out in May. I know what I'll be listening to this summer!!!

This guy has been releasing music since the early 2000's flying a little below the radar. Each release keeps getting better and better. Wild, creative, beautiful music.
Very Bowie-esque.
Rock N Roll is not dead.

This band 'Glam Skanks' was in my Google alerts this morning due to some loose connection with Aerosmith. I listened to a few videos and saw right away they have a very pseudo-retro thing going on. I'm not in love, but I can see potential there.

And from the "We're so original, just like Marilyn Manson" department...

I recognize at least some of these as covers, some Jefferson Airplane and Suzi Quatro. If some of the others are their own tunes, then these chicks are the real deal. I love the vocals, guitar tone, and the attitude. Apparently they opened for Alice Cooper.

^ Yeah, I posted the JA cover purposely. When I'm checking out a new band I always find it helpful to hear them do a few covers. That way, you are already familiar with the song, and can focus on what they are capable of doing with it.

I saw them mentioned in an article a while back but I didn't check them out. Their name made me feel like it was going to be a gimmick. Your mention pushed me over the edge and I finally listened to the music. Its good stuff. The tunes are growing on me. I am a fan. I've been listening to the Bad Bitch tune on repeat. That's a badass album cover too. They all look awesome and the AladdinSane-ish lightning bolt over the lips is a nice touch.
