DJs were just talking about when they had their first beer, one said:
"It was 1977, Portland Civic Center parking lot at an Aerosmith concert. The cops showed up and I had to put the beer down, and I was glad because I hated it and wasn't sure if I should drink it or not"

They are interviewing Dennis Quaid on the radio right now, I was not paying attention, but for some reason I suddenly zoomed in and heard this:
"Dennis, is there any rock album that really got you into rock? I know for me it was when I first heard Aerosmith's Get Your Wings...once I heard that it was like Boom! I'm a rock fan!"

I think I heard something about the Rolling Stones, but I'm not sure. I was going to listen to the podcast, but they want your email address and that was too much of a commitment. Check it out if you want here. PS: Long time no see, where have you been? EDIT: Now I click on the link above and it seems to be working without my email, even though I tried 3 times before. While I was doing other stuff, my Roku went into screen-saver mode. I walked into the room to see this on the screen. Mind you, I've never watched anything Aerosmith related on my Roku, so it was pure coincidence.

I was at U2 this summer and in the middle of "Beautiful Day" Bono threw in a modified snippet of "Dream On." I was like wait a minute those aren't the right words then it dawned on me those were Aero lyrics. It was a pretty neat moment since U2 is my next favorite band and I don't usually associate the two.

On the radio right now, callers are telling about the dumbest argument they ever had:
(paraphrasing) "The dumbest argument I ever had was with my wife over that Kings and Queens song, you know (singing in a high pitched voice) ♪♫'Kings and queens and guillotines' ♫ ...so anyway, we were driving in the car and that song came on and I cranked it, and she turned it down, and I cranked it again and she turned it down again - I got so mad I pulled over and started walking down the highway. A cop came along and when I told him what we were fighting about he just started laughing"
