Honestly it wasn't a strong show. We must've been at different shows on Sunday. A few flubs, sure, but that didn't make for a weak performance, imo. That's live. We were pretty close to the stage, and disappointment wasn't on the tab at night's end. Auto Pilot disappoints me far more than bum notes, and they certainly didn't engage that on Sunday. They seemed loose and in the moment. No critical eye cast from our seats, but different strokes, I suppose. Well they seemed on autopilot to me..maybe because my sit was in the back and I wasn't engaged as much. Missing some notes doesn't mean being cool and rock and roll IMHO but I don't want to make too much drama about it. It can happen and they're getting older and older. I just wasn't super impressed as I've seem them playing better, faster and longer sets. That's all. And again seeing Steven messing up dream on because he was busy yelling to the sound guy and then almost falling from the piano wasn't good either. The Sax mic fail was atrocious too. But the stage production was pretty cool so again I'm happy I was able to experience Aerosmith in such a difference setting but honestly I prefer the raw festival experience.

Everyone experiences these things their own way. Festivals are the last place I wanna see my favourite bands. Gimme a club, theatre or arena any day.

For sound quality Park Theatre was definitely the best experience ever. But seeing a rock show comfortably seated with my beer with people walking around...it was kinda distracting. There's a sort of religious excitement at festivals that really puts you in the moment. It's physically exhausting especially if you aim for the first row but the energy is our of this world and even artists usually feel if and give their all when the crowd is big and loud.
I've seen Aerosmith mostly at festivals then once at an amphitheatre in Berlin and once at an indoor arena in Zurich. Berlin was a mediocre show, Zurich was good but weird...poor Steven hit his nose with the mic and was pissed but Joe was on fire that night.

It went fast. I'm sure they're gonna play 4 different songs instead of seasons, Kings and Queens, hangman jury and come together.
I think December shows are gonna be the best. Anyway I really hope they're gonna edit a good blu ray out of this residency with footage from many shows (like the rock for the rising sun release)

seasons, Kings and Queens, hangman jury I would love to see these songs played in August when I see them.. Especially if it is my last show ever.

Kings and Queens could stay. I believe that is Brad's pick as his showcase song.. It is either that or Last Child.. Last Child is one of my favorites but I have seen them play it at least 25 times. Kings and Queens only twice and I don't remember the first time. I was 19, it was my first show and I was fucking hammered. Would love to see them play both in a show!

kings and Queens is not a good song. very lame. play permanent vacation instead of the whitford songs. you guys here are like this: one dude is taking up a song and then all after saying yeah thats THE song, or yeah thats my favourite song, or yeah thats what they propably gonna play and so on.... have no own thoughts? catalogue has many many songs…..search and Think a Little

Kings and Queens is great very good vocals, bass and guitar solo from Brad. It's just very slow for an Aerosmith live concert. Especially jammed between sweet emotion, back in the saddle, seasons of wither and hangman jury.
Granted I do prefer last child as it packs more of a punch but it's still good to get K&q live especially if Steven nails the screams.

is that why the audience dont make noise after the song? Judging by touristy crowd reactions, I'm fairly positive you may be one of the "special" people on this forum who implore aerosmith to keep playing IDWTMAT instead of K&Q.
