Aerosmith like the sound of Vegas money more than anything else. Wish things were different, but there's nothing I can do. It is what it is.
As for the Vampires, I'm in! No clue how I'll be able to afford it... but I'm in!

Waste of time if it’s not Aero. The worlds most expensive tribute band.

Don't even get me started As for the Vampires, I'm in! No clue how I'll be able to afford it... but I'm in! Well here are the prices (for Germany): - Meet&Greet (ticket NOT included): 1300 EUR
- VIP upgrade (possible Early Entrance, not sure about the ticket): 222 EUR
- Regular ticket (standing, tribunes, where available, are cheaper): 80 EUR
- Golden Circle: 114 EUR, but keep in mind that you might still be in second or further row, if the M&G or VIP is allowed to enter before you....
So it's pricey, but doable. I might go, if I can find a suitable (=cheap) flights, accommodation etc. and GC doesn't sell out before then.

But that's not the selling point... I guess. Aaaaaand their second album is solid and they are nice to watch, so...

I wish they'd be clear about the early entry thing. I'm so getting waves of memories about last year in Frankfurt and how it felt like a rich people's club and how I cried my mind out over it in the hotel room afterwards. I don't like feeling like that at concerts, so I'm really starting to wonder if I'll go at all. That's a lot of money to pay for feeling like you have no business being there. I wish I didn't like them. I wish I could forget how much every damn cell in my body loved the actual shows, how intense my Dead Drunk Friends and Combination felt. I somehow wish I had the visa barrier I had for Vegas. It would make it easier to let it go. Like the last song on their album says... congratulations! The only band that made me cry for this reason.

However, these guys have such little time left, they should just focus on Aerosmith and not other bands/side projects. One last great Aerosmith record and world tour should be the focus.

I feel you, i really do... It seems that things are constantly becoming more and more vague for concert-goers. And also, as you put it, "the rich people's club" thing.... I don't mind anyone having a lot of money (as long as they got it in fairly), but I always kinda hoped that the relationship between the band and fans is not about it... well, not only, at least. I'm just a dreamer, who dreams of better days... I guess.

Golden Circle in Munich is sold out.
Golden Circle everywhere in Germany is probably going to sell out. No clue when, but if anyone is counting on still finding GC tickets 3 months in advance... change your plans, it's unlikely you'll be that lucky.

I didn't expect it to sell out, to be honest. I am thinking about Oberhausen. How about you anaix3l?

I didn't expect it to sell out, to be honest. I am thinking about Oberhausen. How about you anaix3l? Are you asking me about Oberhausen or about what I'm going to do? Oberhausen is a good place to see a show. Not necessarily pretty, at least not the area where the arena is located. There are three big international airports in the area, so better chances of finding a cheap flight. Plenty of local transportation options from airports throughout the day. FlixBus from the Cologne-Bonn airport was 5 or 6 euro and for the other two, there's the VRR. As far as accommodation options go, there aren't that many in Oberhausen. I've stayed at Residenz, which is definitely a great place to stay if you want to have not just a room, but also a mini kitchen. But there's also the option of not staying in Oberhausen and instead going for nearby Essen, which has more and cheaper options - a good deal in Essen can more than offset the transportation costs. If you're feeling adventurous, you can even walk (don't expect pretty scenery along the way though). FYI: if you're going from Dortmund Airport and you're going to stay in Essen (this does not apply if you're staying in Oberhausen, which is further away!), don't buy a C ticket (12.80€) from the airport to Essen. If you take the bus from the airport, the bus driver will probably ask you where you're going and will tell you this so you don't waste money needlessly, but just in case... Your best option is to get an A3 ticket (2.90€) from the airport to Dortmund (Hbf.) and then buy 4xB tickets (22.00€ if you buy 4 of them, a single one is 6.00€). You will need exactly 4 such B tickets if you're staying in Essen. 1 from Dortmund to Essen, 1 from Essen to Oberhausen to go to the show, 1 from Oberhausen to Essen when you return from the show and 1 from Essen to Dortmund when you go back. Which is when you'll also need another A3 ticket to get back to the airport. Oh, and if you're into checking out music stores (or exchanging bills because none of the damn ticket machines at the station take anything but coins and you hate the thought of spending money on something you don't really want), there's Idiots Records close to Dortmund Hbf. And there's also a Saturn close by. As for what I'm going to do... try to get the Vampires out of my mind for now. We'll see in a month how I feel about it. And what options will still be available.

I was actually asking about the latter, since I know the area as I have studied there (NRW) for a moment. But thanks for elaborating! Knowledge is power, so it's always good to know more And as for me - I am thinking Oberhausen, but I'm gonna put it on hold till at least January 26th: https://www.instagram.com/p/B5FIGYNHqhV
