As far as I am concerned, the worst thing you can do is stay in your house. You need to go out and get some fresh air. This is why we get more sick in the winter because people don’t get out like they do in the summer. That’s why I love Florida so much because it’s summer all year round. I am not saying to go out in crowds but for goodness sake, don’t shut yourself up in your house all day for weeks on end.

I don't have running water anymore, so I've been losing about a kilo (so more than 2% of my body weight) a day lately due to dehydration, so it's going to be either my heart or my kidneys to win the race to the grave. But what about other people, right? Well, please excuse me, but since this Tuesday, I've been too fucking drunk to give a crap anymore. Please ensure that you buy water as well as wine/liquor on your next shop! If you're not going to look after your health for your own sake, at least do it for a bunch of strangers on the internet Not sure if I have already said anything on here, my mum died a couple of months ago. She wasn't old in any usual sense of the word, only 68, but I guess a lifetime of smoking coupled with a chest infection meant that she just couldn't fight it off. I'm sure if she hadn't died already, she'd probably be at serious risk of dying from coronavirus. My dad is around 77 so he's probably going to be at risk too. 2020 is a real pain of a year already and I am sure there is plenty more to come, but let's not make it any worse, eh? Sorry to hear about your Mother mate. I hope your Dad stays safe. I've been bummed at gigs and sport being cancelled but there's far worse things happening to people with the current situation. I've just returned from a skiing holiday. I've passed through 2 other countries. I have a cold and don't feel terrible but I guess I have to be careful and not look to pass anything on.

I agree with some of this but there are a lot of vulnerable people at risk of dying. I think that's far worse than losing a job or bank balance. I'm not worried about my own health but conscious that I could possibly pass something on that could change someone's life. I want to go on as normal but I don't want to put others at risk. And I very much doubt that warm weather is a cure.

Warm weather hasn't been proved to reduce the outbreak.
It's ultimately also about your own health because with hospitals in total chaos with no intensive care positions, even you're not affected by this virus you and or one of your dear ones might need intensive care. What happens when there is no room? Hospitals go into emergency protocols and choose depending on the survival rate of the patients in line for treatment. It affects us all. And while people who are dying are mostly very old with other conditions, ad more people get the virus more people under 60 is also being affected with a good % needing hospitalisation and intensive care as well. Maybe they have higher chances to survive but good luck with that and with the lungs affected permanently.

Things have definitely become more serious. Especially in Italy where almost 400 people died today. Granted Italy has an older population than the US, but it’s still not good.
The biggest thing is you have two problems, you have conspiracy theorists that think this is the government trying to control us to take away our rights. Then you have idiots like Newsome in California who feeds the fire by saying California is a nation-state and will take over private facilities and do what he wants. I think closing down non essential public places and even some essential places for a couple weeks at least would be good. But we can’t overreact and give in to fear.

Mortality rate is over 7%, this is sars all over again. Stay home! Men are more exposed than women. They're analysing the dead patients, almost 80% of them had high blood pressure, other diabetes or cancer so weakened by chemotherapy.
Still it's very dangerous and very serious.

http://instagram.com/p/B9zUqz4ncUR Italian scientists think the nationwide soft quarantine will need to be extended after April 3rd but the mathematic projections already show it's working but we need more time as we build new hospitls and face the emergency. other EU countries are doing the same but it won't end before may/June. I hope this tour won't be cancelled, it's still doable if we all act cohesively. We'll see. In the meantime stay at home ad much as possible and let's all right the same war against this virus 💪

With their age they may never play Europe again.

To me concerts are one of the key elements of my life. Around concerts I plan travels, experiences, meet new cultures and people around the world. It's really something very important for me so it's so painful to see many events cancelled and postponed but this is a war and for the first time we're all fighting the same enemy. There's a good way of looking at this very sad situation. Stay safe guys and let's hope for the best

My father-in-law has been a chief of critical care and emergency medicine for decades, currently in Miami, formerly Houston. He also participates in disaster relief training missions. Obviously we've talked to him about this, and this virus is no joke. Even if you feel fine you may be a carrier. If you go out and transmit it to someone else, that transmission will grow exponentially. People across the country could die because you thought you were tough enough to go eat in a restaurant and have microscopic spittle fly out of your mouth everywhere. Keep to yourselves, but don't panic. Just avoid all unnecessary interactions. The real danger right now is that we're overwhelming hospitals. 50 million people needing hospitalization over 8 months is fine, 50 million people needing hospitalization over 3 weeks is a nightmare. There aren't enough supplies to care for everyone who needs it, and _that's_ what's killing some people. Take one for the team, suck it up, and just be pretty boring until this whole thing stabilizes.

I hope so too... there are plenty of things booked for the next year that will be cancelled. Businesses will go bust because they can't afford the drop in custom, some events will not be refunded, etc. But at the end of the day we can hopefully all get through this with our health (and sanity) intact, ready to start again once it's over.

President Trump has said it could take until August or longer for this to pass. Not that the quarantines will last until August, but it will be until then until it’s contained enough for things to get back to normal.
People have to think of others instead of themselves and heed the advice of the government. I am not one to trust the government 100% but in a case like this, I think we need to heed their advice.

Trump is doing good, in Italy after the first weeks of chaos now every party is on the same page. Stay home, stay safe
