Bloody hell. Already? Here's hoping the rest of the tour goes to plan.

This really, really sucks. We all kind of knew they weren't going be able to make all these dates without interruption, but I figured they could do chunks of at least 8-10.
The tour was off to such a great start. Hopefully this is just a minor setback.

Sitting at a bar with 4 buddies that were going to the show tomorrow in Toronto - 3 of us flew from Saskatchewan.
We are drunk and have decided we are going to the Minnesota show on Nov 13th. Not letting the tough news take our last Aerosmith show from us!!

They seemed to be in such great shape that I really got my hopes up and I really thought they'd get through the first batch of 8 shows and then they had a break after that anyway.

Oh man. I had tickets for Toronto, and I too was glad to be seeing them early on the tour before something bad happened. Not early enough! I hope they can finish off this tour, as it looked to be off to such a great start.

I watched 'Walk This Way' from the last show when it was Joe's birthday. You could hear Tyler's voice getting very hoarse at the end. If they're to complete this final run, he may have to swallow his pride and get some taped assistance. To Hell with the internet critics. After 3 shows? It doesn't bode well for future dates.

Wait, so the Montreal show is not going to be the "last ever Aerosmith show" ??

If they're to complete this final run, he may have to swallow his pride and get some taped assistance. To Hell with the internet critics. I'd rather they picked different songs, easier on his voice, let Joe sing 2, have tom sing 1, put in some instrumental and even shorten the setlist by 1 or 2 songs, and get him through it... I'd hate for them to rely more and more on tapes and backup singers instead of the The Demon of Screamin'

If they're to get through this run intact, something needs to be done. Either way, it will attract the Internet moaners who can't see the reality of the situation.

I love Saddle as the opener but no issue with replacing it if it helps Steven with less stress and possibly damaging his voice. Maybe Let the Music open the show. No issue either with a little technical help with the Dream On scream. He’s earned it. He’s proven to be a beast all these years. Cut him a break. Also, maybe bring on a couple of the Crowes for an extended jam? Thighs? How about doing a Stones song? It’s only rock and roll… thinking outside the box. 16 Songs, one w Joe singing and one w the Crowes. Sounds like a winner.

Good idea, Warmaker. But due to his 2 bouts of throat cancer, I don't think Tom can sing. He was hoarse the last time I met him and they don't set up a microphone for him anymore.

I was surprised they opened this tour with Saddle. It's too demanding at age 75. You also have to wonder now about Draw the Line getting played. As for additional backing tracks, No More No More.

Good bless Glenn Hughes,,, one in a million. Perhaps when Tyler returns, he can adapt.
