At this point replace Steven with the singer from the Black Crows or the singer from the Joe Perry Project to get through the rest of the dates and then end it. I think it’s optimistic to think Steven will ever be able to sing a live show again.

I saw somewhere on Facebook earlier that they would not be resuming the shows until New Years. I am not sure how accurate that is but I just searched the interweb and didn't see anything anywhere.

According to Aerofanatic this is absolutely false. I guess time will tell. Honestly, if Steven’s voice is as bad as they were saying where he can’t even talk, I don’t see how he can do a 90 minute to 2 hour show in only 30 days.

Looks like this is the news we have all been fearing…from Jam Magazine…
JUST IN! Aerosmith will be postponing their US TOUR due to Steven Tyler’s vocal cord issue and will resume their PEACE OUT TOUR in early 2024!
Stay tuned for the official announcement coming sometime tomorrow from the Aerosmith camp! #JamMag #OnTour

If true it will be all over the place very soon.

I doubt they get through this tour which most of us predicted. I hope I'm wrong. I'm bummed about NYE if it doesn't restart then. If you plan on going to a show either a) go super early in the tour and/or b) if you travel a fair distance, make nothing non-refundable. Pay the extra money for hotel cancelation along with refundable flights.

Totally agree on hotels where I haven't seen huge differences, but in my experience, refundable flights cost at the very least 3-4 times more than non-refundable. It ends up being more advantageous to just lose the money for a non-refundable flight a couple of times over. My latest flight was 37€. Cheapest option that allowed for free rescheduling (which is not even the same as refundable) was 144€.

Steven couldn’t talk…he was squeaking when he talked…that doesn’t just magically heal in 30 days, especially at his age. Honestly, at this point I am thinking this tour will not resume. This kind of vocal chord injury has ended careers of singers much younger than Steven and this is at least Steven’s 2nd time having this issue. I am sure his doctors are going to advise Steven if he continues to sing, eventually the damage will be permanent.

At this point, all I want is, if they resume the tour, include Joey, we know this new set of dates could last 5 shows, so at least go with the original line up

Listen, I don't know what the guys are thinking or who is managing them. They cannot handle rigorous touring like they used to anymore, this is part of the reason they made the switch to Vegas from 2019-2022 (and LOOK at even how much of that got cancelled, and ended up being the decline of Joey).
Even postponing this lengthy tour to next year is unrealistic.
At this point, do one last show or a "final run" spread out. They could do one proper last show or a run of last shows in Boston and go out on a high note. Maybe just hit 5 major cities and do 5 shows. Boston, NY, LA, Chicago, Detroit, and Las Vegas- yes it will require fans to travel but they have done it before.
I think the band going overseas at this point is unrealistic but they could essentially do the same thing overseas: 1 SA show, 1 Euro show, and a Tokyo show before they call it.
Idk... just throwing ideas around. I just think major touring is not in the cards at this point. I didn't buy tickets because I had a feeling this would happen. The band has been REALLY, exceptionally flaky in the past 10 years when it comes to cancelling shows. It's not a good look.
