Shame about that predictable encore, though. Did they really have to do The Big 3 together? For this show they really did, and it worked. The production for this show was off the charts, they had a lot of fireworks queued up with those songs. On paper it looks predictable but it was awesome. Sweet Emotion was mind blowing.

Setlist : Setlist Back in the Saddle Same Old Song and Dance Rag Doll Mama Kin Remember (Walking in the Sand) Stop Messin' Around Cryin' Hangman Jury Seasons of Wither Toys in the Attic Livin' on the Edge The Other Side I Don't Want to Miss a Thing Love in an Elevator Draw the Line Dude (Looks Like a Lady) Encore: Dream On Sweet Emotion Walk This Way Basically the Same they switched full Circle and big ten inchiavabile for toys and draw The line which are actually more played so this makes this set even more predictable. Still Full Circle didn't sound good and I'm curious to hear how they played DTL at their age. Overall not an amazing selection imho. I watched some videos and... these are not great performances. Cryin, seasons, Dream on all sounded very bad. SOSAD, Dude, DTL and Saddle sounded ok. Didn't check the rest much. I hope they can warm up, Steven's voice is still there but he's all over the place forgetting lyrics, missing cues, out of breath, focused on playing the piano poorly instead of singing... I think at this point they need to reconsider the way they perform, the order of the tracks to allow Steven's voice to rest between more challenging songs, bring Joey back or at least someone who can do him justice and maybe do more rehearsals? Put to rest songs that sound bad live no matter how popular they are... I remember the Vegas show was so complex, they had many musicians, laser and flame effects, stage props.. everything had to be tight and well timed and without Kramer it's going to be a very difficult thing to pull off. I think they are still rocking hard at their age but I wouldn't spend too much on these shows. Since I was there, and not critiquing the show from YouTube, I’ll advise everyone to ignore this ridiculously inaccurate review. I’ll do a proper review later, but in short they sounded great, not perfect, but they had the place singing and dancing from beginning to end. The set list was great even though I wished there was one more deep gem, all in all, for all the 70’s songs they delivered, I’d be a whiney bitch to complain. We’re there a few minor hick-ups? Yeah, but this is rock’n roll, who cares? It was a magical night, everyone was in a great mood, and they really did deliver for Fenway. More details to come. Maybe. Well said brother. I will also do a proper review tomorrow. I was very proud to be an Aerosmith fan last night. Everyone around me was having a blast from beginning to end. Such a good vibe. It was an "Amazing" night.

I'll start off by saying, like many, I had wished I took the refund while I had the chance, it was hectic trying to get people to go, and it took 3 hours to get to Fenway which for me should have been a 45 minute drive. HOWEVER, I am very glad that I didn't and went. The show itself was much better than expected and the visual production along with pyro was really unbelievable for this show. The band seemed very well rehearsed, and while Kramer, very missed, JD really stepped up his game and the band as a whole seems a lot tighter than when he was asked last minute to step-in with no rehearsal. SADDLE- as always a great opener, the fireworks were a nice addition to, "I'M BACK!" SAME OLD- need I say anymore? RAG DOLL- slower than usual, grooved pretty well. MA KIN- ST says before, "we gonna dig deep." Not exactly, but I'll take it. REMEMBER- this was a first for me and was much better live than expected. Cool to hear a track of Ruts, even though it would not have been my pick. STOP MESSIN'- Stop playing this fucking song. I get it, I'm with tomass, if Joe is gonna play a song it might as well be this one. CRYIN'- first order change of the night, I was expecting Hangman here. HANGMAN- couldn't here Joe's dobro, probably for a good reason \ SEASONS- great as always. TOYS- totally threw me off because I was expecting full circle here and instead we got a blistering toys- I'll take that as a win. EDGE- The intro was a little bizarre, it was all joe with no kick drum. OTHER SIDE- I love this song, so it was a welcomed addition. IDWTMAT- They kinda have to play this. ELEVATOR- Totally bizarre moment. Right before the song started Tom tripped over Brad's mic/pedal board and fell down pretty hard. For a minute I didn't think he was getting up- steven saw it and yelled for the spotlight to move to the other side of the stage. After a few awkward seconds the band launched into elevator like nothing happened. Tom all laughs. DRAW THE LINE- my favorite moment of the night, ST- "Shit we are just getting started..." and then joe ripped right into DTL- sick. I was not expecting this because it hasn't been in the set much the past few years. DUDE- same as always but they added an extended jam at the end. ENCORE- the wait was unusually long so I think this was because of the green monster. DREAM ON- Yup, DO on the monster again. This was the only train wreck of the night. My theory is ST knew they were running late on time, and decided to speed through and skip the second verse- the band apparently did not get the memo. SWEET E- Nice long bass intro. WTW- Weird w/o Joey. Extreme was like nails on a chalkboard and I'm not sure if any man in the world loves himself as much as Nuno Bettencourt. Absolutely no mention of Joey Kramer. Very strange.

Weird to have a set without an extended jam and no "Brad moments" specially after being teased with that setlist sheet that included Nobody's Fault and Last Child... The no jam thing is what ultimately killed Vegas for me, it felt so rushed and phoned in, especially after they presented a long version of Oh Well only a couple of years prior.
The more I see this setlist the more I am unimpressed. I guess The Other Side will be the only "new" song to be dusted off for this tour on a regular basis. Also I miss something more experimental during Sweet Emotion, now that I think od it back in 2010 Joe used to mess around (pun intended) with a Theremin and it was epic.

I was to the right side of the field so it was tough to see his side of teh stage unless it was on the screens. Agree about Extreme.. They don't do anything for me and it was cringe when Nuno described himself as a rock star.

The more I see this setlist the more I am unimpressed. How many more negative comments are you going to make about a show that you weren't even at?

They cancelled on me three times for this trainwreck and a tired ass residency in Vegas, I have all the rights to write negative comments. Still, I'm very happy they're back and healthy and you guys had fun.

We were on Joe’s side at an angle. There was one thing I saw Steven do that I’ve never seen him do before and that’s sit down on the drum riser and sing. I forget what song, but half way through he went and sat down.

seangod great writeup, that's interesting about Tom falling. I missed that, but could tell something happened right before Elevator. I thought it was just a false start by either Joe or Brad, where they played the opening lick before everyone was ready, perhaps even a miscommunication with cueing the background video. I knew there was something I was missing. Steven seemed concerned at first then joked about it after. I gotta disagree with you guys about Nuno and Extreme though. I thought they did their job really well. Nuno in particular spent a decent amount of time hyping and reminiscing about the area and Aerosmith. The crowd wasn't very receptive to them at first, but they had everyone warmed up by the end. Granted it was dentist songs that got everyone up and singing, but they crowd remained engaged through their last 2 rockers.

A few more notes:
Just like Voodoo, I went in thinking last night would definitely be my last Aerosmith show and left feeling like I could see them 10 more times if they keep playing like they did last night.
I don't know who else from the Boston area saw them last at Springfield in 2019, but I thought last night's show was a million times better than that one.

I have an upcoming back surgery but if I am recovered in time and they are still doing Vegas shoiws, I am going. Agree 100% on the Springfield show. They were like night and day.. Springfield wasn't bad but there was no comparison.

Weird to have a set without an extended jam and no "Brad moments" The may not have played a "Brad Song" like Last Child or Kings and Queens but there are "Brad moments" all night long. He plays a lot of leads, and his contributions are all over their catalog. He jammed out for two minutes at the end of Dude which was cool.
