Aerosmith were forced to cancel their Deuces Are Wild Las Vegas residency concert at Dolby Live in Park MGM on Friday (Dec. 2) due to sudden illness. According to a statement the band shared on social media, frontman Steven Tyler has fallen ill and is unable to take the stage. “It is with great disappointment that we are forced to cancel tonight’s show in Las Vegas due to Steven feeling unwell and unable to perform,” the band wrote on Instagram. Found out when I got there. Going to George Strait then going home. Shitty deal, so close to showtime.

Damn! What a shame, and so last-minute too. Wonder if Steven caught a bout of stomach flu. Hopefully he recovers soon.

What do you mean with super early? When did you get there? Where there many people already? I got a ticket for Joe's side and I'm a bit worried. Don't wanna get there to early, but also not to late. ;-) And that covid testing still is a bit of a mystery to me. I was on stage left a few shows ago. COVID testing is available from 2-8 PM at On the Record, a nightclub across from the venue entrance (located within Park MGM casino). Like others have mentioned, tests are $25 per person, you get back in line to receive your results and if you are negative they will give you a wristband as proof of this. Around 5-5:30 PM they will replace your wristband with another showing which side of the stage you are on along with a VIP General Admission lanyard. This happens in the same line so I would recommend getting right back in line if you're worried about getting a good spot and if you don't mind waiting. After this, you can get in line for the actual doors to the venue. Once those open, the doors to sidestage open relatively soon (about 10-15 minutes after venue doors opened) so make your bathroom stops and photo ops quick. After all this and you are on stage, it is surprise, surprise, more waiting... Fingers crossed you get a spot close to the front and are fortunate enough not to be obscured by the Aerosmith's Angels section. *eyeroll* In my opinion, it is well worth the wait (and the aching knees) if you want the best shot at getting right to the front. Hope this was helpful. i probably got to the venue 2 1/2 hours before doors opened. I wasn't the first person but was probably top 5-7. back then there were 2 lines for G/A. one for side stage seating and a separate one for the pit in front of the stage. everyone was super nice at the time. if you were waiting in line to get in and needed the bathroom etc.., nobody had an issue holding your spot before doors opened. as i said, if you don't want anyone in front of you to block your view, i'd go in line super early due to part of the front side-stage seating being roped off for the VIP's (At least that's how it was a few years ago).

Tomorrow’s show - December 5th - is now canceled Talk about limping to the finish line of the Vegas run. At least they gave people better notice this time. This reminds me again, the days of traveling to see them is long gone.

Disappointed to the max!! Have tickets for Dec 5 show and saw on Twitter that Steven is resting per dr. so that show has been cancelled. Flying to Vegas Mon a m. and was looking forward to the show. I know Steven is an entertainer and wouldn't cancel unless absolutely necessary. Have tickets for Dec 11. Hope he can perform then. If not, wasted a trip to Vegas. Thank goodness it's only a 1 hour flight, but airfare prices are still outrageous.

Sigh.
I'm really sorry for them, for Steven, because all this repeatedly only cancelling this show, but not the next shows they're really hoping he's somehow going to be able to get through if only given a few more days. Sadly, with age, one's body becomes less likely to cooperate.
I'm even more sorry for the fans who spent hard-earned money and took time off work to travel to Vegas to see them. Ticket refunds only cover a small part of the costs.

The days of traveling to see these guys are over. It's not worth the $ and risk.

The media is disgusting in their efforts to sensationalize and make more money. And their versions have gotten increasingly ridiculous as the days go on. The reality... ...vs the media spin
Now, hopefully the spin doesn't become the reality, because in the words of the master himself "You're no spring chicken", but there really should be a law against this kind of alarmist 'reporting'.

There’s rumors from TMZ via Aerofanatic that Steven is relapsed. If true…very questionable…this will probably be the end of Aerosmith.
