Now that we have 2 shows under our belt, how are folks feeling about Vegas? I enjoyed Fenway but feel like Vegas will be the same show/setlist. I have a free plane ticket (through work) and can stop off in Vegas next week to go. But trying to figure out whether it’s worth the hotel and ticket price. Only I can answer but looking for some inspiration. It’s the balance of (i) fomo and (ii) saving money and avoiding Vegas, which I hate. Nine Inch Nails is playing the next night, so I’d throw that in if I do it I'd say go for it especially if you have other things you can do. I can't imagine they are going to continue that much longer so just go and have fun! Expect the usual going on and you can't be disappointed. I'm sure the sets will change a tiny bit every few shows.

If anyone is looking, there was a pretty big ticket drop for Sep 17 (and 14) so I snagged one.

Curious to see what this will be. My money's on 'Nobody's Fault'. The set needs a Brad tune.

Is there ever a run of shows that isn't preceded by Joe using the term 'deep cuts'?
How does that generally work out? 😁
It's right up there with "The new songs sound like Rocks!"
"Here's one we've been keeping in the pocket. It's called Hole In My Soul!".

It appears they dropped Remember (Walking in the Sand) from the 9/23 show without any other setlist changes. That's a bummer if true. There is a chance the song was overlooked when posting the setlist and it will be corrected later. The setlist reporter looks like a fanboy who attends a ton of their shows and regularly posts setlists, so the song being dropped is the more likely explanation. Update: The setlist reporter just updated the setlist. It's now back at 17 tracks with "Instrumental" in place of Remember.

I think this setlist is rather weak. Rag Doll and Remember don't seem to fit into a Vegas atmosphere. Plus the Hangman-Season duo has been overplayed since 2017 and was brought on a world tour twice in 2007 and 2017. I think it needs to rest and leave space for other 2 lesser played songs... they can still be slower/Harmonica songs to allow Steven and Joe to sit for a few minutes at the centre of the stage: One Way Street, Woman of The World, Uncle Salty, Amazing, Fall Together, Sunshine, Fly Away From Here, Luv Lies, Avant Garden...

It is a shame they already dropped, Remember. I figured it wouldn't be long lived. If you look at the stats, its a very rare song- before this year there were only 18 known live plays of this song, up to 23 now.
2022- 5 2017- 3
before that the year 2000 (1). I'd say pretty rare.

Rag Doll went over great. Remember not so much but I never assumed it would stay in the setlist, just sort of wish they replaced it instead of shorten the show. Now I don't feel so bad for missing Sep 23. Was planning on going to entire first run but took off to Finland for the Hanoi Rocks reunion. When I landed at LAX I was even thinking of bouncing right over to Vegas for tonight's show (and right back) but considering how hard I crashed when I got home, it probably would not have been a good move.
Hangman - Seasons doesn't seem overplayed but then I didn't see them in locales a million miles from Vegas in 2007 and 2017. The backdrop adds a lot of atmosphere that isn't recreated reading setlists off the internet.
Personally the songs I am sick of the most are the ones that go over well with the tourists and an all deep cut show being surrounded by bored and grumbling patrons wouldn't have been much better. At least they paced it pretty good.
If die hards can't enjoy the same show twice maybe they shouldn't be going to more than one.
