I think this setlist is rather weak. Rag Doll and Remember don't seem to fit into a Vegas atmosphere. Plus the Hangman-Season duo has been overplayed since 2017 and was brought on a world tour twice in 2007 and 2017. I think it needs to rest and leave space for other 2 lesser played songs... they can still be slower/Harmonica songs to allow Steven and Joe to sit for a few minutes at the centre of the stage: One Way Street, Woman of The World, Uncle Salty, Amazing, Fall Together, Sunshine, Fly Away From Here, Luv Lies, Avant Garden... Rag Doll went over great. Remember not so much but I never assumed it would stay in the setlist, just sort of wish they replaced it instead of shorten the show. Now I don't feel so bad for missing Sep 23. Was planning on going to entire first run but took off to Finland for the Hanoi Rocks reunion. When I landed at LAX I was even thinking of bouncing right over to Vegas for tonight's show (and right back) but considering how hard I crashed when I got home, it probably would not have been a good move.
Hangman - Seasons doesn't seem overplayed but then I didn't see them in locales a million miles from Vegas in 2007 and 2017. The backdrop adds a lot of atmosphere that isn't recreated reading setlists off the internet.
Personally the songs I am sick of the most are the ones that go over well with the tourists and an all deep cut show being surrounded by bored and grumbling patrons wouldn't have been much better. At least they paced it pretty good.
If die hards can't enjoy the same show twice maybe they shouldn't be going to more than one.
You went to the Hanoi reunion/birthday bash? Sweet! Even from afar, it looked incredible! Would've loved to have been there.

So, exact same setlist 5 shows in a row (even shorter now, considering they removed Remember). Did they do that because they settled on what they consider a "solid setlist", or is it that they're just going through the motions and only care about cashing it in? In my opinion, it's a weak setlist, It's almost the "Big Ones" album with a twist or two. Their "newest song" is I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, from 1998 (You could say 2004's Stop Messin' Around, but it's a cover). They don't play anything from Nine Lives, Just Push Play or MFAD, they could throw in at least one song from each album (Falling In Love, Pink, I'd go with Full Circle every time, Jaded, Sunshine, Beyond Beautiful, Oh Yeah, Street Jesus to name a few). I'd remove "The Other Side" from the setlist in a heartbeat.

I'm pretty sure when Joey was thrown out/let go (whatever you want to call it) towards the end of the last Vegas run the sets didn't change at all when they took the Vegas act on the road. They played the same venues a few times, and nothing really changed in terms of the setlist so this shouldn't be a surprise so far.
The sets are fine for the average fan. People like us, eh it's ok. Nothing I'd fly out to see.

been awhile since i wrote something here and now it is time. i cannot attend any vegas show as they want vaccination to come to usa. aerosmith is fun to see but not liking the venue there at all. saw some shows there 2020 and the sound is nothing that i expect and want at concerts. listened to recordings from maine? show earlier and there was that live vibe and sound again. but not at vegas. no.
anyway..as someone here mentioned seeing hanoi rocks show a week ago i cannot mention my favourite band at the moment. and yeah..been following aerosmith for 30 years seen many concerts with them through the years. having all their albums and shit. but my favourite band at the moment is something that you rocknroll people really should dig into. if they were americans or british they would have played stadiums and been like huuuuuge. SUPERMEGAHUGE i tell you. i think they could be like the best band ever at least in some styles or ways. they have so many killer songs and they are from Finland yeah right. They are a band called Hurriganes and made records somewhat in the years 1973 - 1983 . They were a threeman band and had 2 excellent guitarists in albert järvinen and Ile Kallio who in the band not the same time but in different years. the bassplayer looked like Al Bundy. The drummer was also the singer . at some songs the bassplayer sang the song and of course the guitar players sang some too. oh my what a groove they had. excellent guitarplaying and solos. and the drummer was a beast! what a man! so playful and fun! they play like all kind of rocknroll, acdc, zz top..even aerosmithstyle...50s rocknroll. their walking the dog and roadrunner from 70´s are so much heavier and better than aerosmiths i say.
aerosmith has get your wings, toys in the attic, rocks , draw the line as their golden four? check out Hurriganes roadrunner, crazy days , hot wheels, tsugu way ...thats their best 4 in a row maybe. my favourite album of theirs at the moment tsugy way from 77 . so weird album. some time ago i thought it was their absolute worst album but no no. it is so great..so fun. so grroovy. but not like their other albums...they had so many different styles this group. after the 70s their albums got a worse sound . the 79 album jailbird had some good songs but the sound is horrible. the 82? album seven days seven nights is said to have great sound but i dont hear the guitars loud anymore......check out the early weird Indian song and the song keep on moving also..too many songs to mention
please take a listen..a long listen and tell here what you think. im curious
Hurriganes for everyone! Hurriganes from Finland! should have been as big as the Stones and The Beatles!..steven tyler once said..-"hurriganes...the ultimate rocknroll band!"...put them on...instant love i tell you!

You won't get an argument from me. Hurriganes rock! Years back, I heard Monroe cover Get On, and had to follow up. Bought Roadrunner, and was very pleasantly surprised. Kickass rock n' roll! Need to get more.

FINAL Vegas shows? They keep saying "final vegas shows." Is this it? Does anyone know? I can't imagine them doing much more than a small US farewell tour '23/'24 after this... The Hollywood Vampires have a pretty lengthy Euro Tour planned for next '23 summer which is concerning for two reasons: way too much time for Joe to be hanging around on benders with Depp and too many shows in a row... Plus as far as I'm concerned I wouldn't want to see the vamps if they were playing in my backyard for free...

Sounds more like the residency is not selling well, so they won't be doing it again, lol.

A part of me can't help but think this Vegas run might be the end full stop. Hopefully I'm wrong.... Just a hunch.

Maybe an occasional festival slot here and there, but touring? I can't even imagine their tour insurance costs. No Reliability Discount for these fellas. The sun is setting.

As great as the Fenway and last round of Vegas shows looked and sounded, they did just reek of 'Contractual obligation'. Maybe, not so much Fenway, but.... Who knows?

Tonight Joe said this is the first night of the last run before the next tour
My friend seems to think they are going to be doing a stadium tour with coheadliner similar to this year's Motley Crue / Def Leppard tour
Not sure because it seems to me they have lost a lot of ground but who knows
