It's a very NY metro area video. MSG, UBS and The Rock all featured. If there is a question as to how well tix will sell, 3 arenas in the same metro area is quite daring. Will all three shows be around the same time, or spread out over time? Is it possible there will be another act on the bill? Will there be a free dinner buffet? Just sayin'. I'm surprised about Prudential Center being one of them. Hopefully with 3 arena shows close by plus Philly , tickets will come down in price as time gets closer on the secondary market. If in the area it may be wise to sit the initial on sale out and see what happens. I can't see them not having a decently known opening act to help sell tickets. I didn’t see Prudential Center. I am hoping for MSG - they start the video with the subway. Looks like the new UBS Arena in Long Island is one of them

Any chance this tour doesn’t sell well? Is Aerosmith still an act that can sell out 40 arenas across the country? They haven’t had a hit song in 20 years. I just wonder if the shine on their star has faded too much at this point. They did sell out Fenway last year, but that was also a hometown crowd When billed as a farewell tour, probably yes.
That being said, I saw an article on a potential farewell tour yesterday and the comments including things like: "Steve Tyler, no thanks" and "Isn't Steven Tyler accused of some serious crimes right now? Not interested"
You mean the cancel crowd is planning on staying home? Oh darn. How will we ever enjoy ourselves?

Well I have Boston, MSG and UBS on my list. I've already made NYE reservations for Boston which are easily canceled on Monday if it's not NYE but already high hotel rates will instantly skyrocket upon any announcement so that's done. I may have to pass on UBS though because my hometown LI crowd is quite lame and may depress and lull the band to sleep with their lackluster enthusiasm! Too many shows with a repetitive setlist is not a wise use of money either. I would like to find a smaller city and venue to see them too as Steven has said in the past that the media in the biggest cities create a lot of distractions for them, so a laid back town may find the guys more relaxed and playful. Knoxville? I've never been to TN and tix there may be a little bit less expensive for those front sections.

I can see them trying to do Springsteen prices which were mostly lower level $300 - $500 pre fees. Upper level was like $150 - $250 pre fees. My guess is, if you're willing to wait it out, you'll have a good chance at good seats for the lower level/floor at face value. Springsteen had drops for many shows, even New Jersey for awhile at the lower level price. If you just want the cheapest seats, you may want to buy right away if prices are reasonable. I'm guessing nobody I know will spend the money so I'll probably be going solo which hopefully means a better chance at a closer seat.

Has anyone else seen the rumor that the Black Crowes will be opening these shows? The Crowes are just playing the hits these days so they’d make sense as an opener.

She bought a platinum seat side loge for $1100 and then a week before the show, 4 great side loge sections and some front orchs became available at face price around 400. She decided that maybe she didn't want to go but TM would not let her price her ticket any lower than the $1100 paid so she could not sell at a partial loss if she wanted. She'd have to eat the whole thing! She went to the show but it is demonstrative of the shenanigans. The Crowes would be a logical choice indeed and Joe has a relationship with Robinson so that makes sense. Thinking about it there will probably be many from Europe at the east coast locations with international flights, and many from Asia in LA, and that will juice sales. But, I don't think anything that has been reported so far would preclude them from extending the tour into Europe and beyond, eh?

I am going to be very fiscally irresponsible this tour. I wish I could too, but I don't think they're coming to South America.

I have a friend who moved back to the States last year; he was in my team at work and for his leaving do I arranged for us all to go watching Rival Sons / Dirty Honey… he’s already on board with me crashing at his, and us hitting a show… he’s upstate New York somewhere so will definitely be paying close attention to east coast locations!
