Interesting that Peace Out is trademarked. Do they own it now like Phil Jackson owns Threepeat? Or, did they have to pay to use it?

Do they honestly think they can pull this off? Steven has known limitations that they've been working around for years now by doing shorter runs with larger breaks built in. Based on past performance, there's a strong argument to be made that they need to go further in that direction, sprinkling in groups of shows with larger breaks in between.
It looks like they are completely abandoning that strategy and packing in 40 dates with only a 2 week break around Christmas, biting off waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more than they can chew. I hope I am wrong, but I'd give them less than a 1% chance of pulling this off without significant cancellations and postponements.

Sorry this is gross. The way they CANCELLED Joey without any sort of professionalism and transparency really craps on decades of legacy. I wasn't expecting this kind of rotten behavior from them, especially when they have no known contracts or obligations to labels and publishers. I can hardly say I'm a fan at this point. I am really triggered and grossed out. Not to mention they cancelled EU shows for Vegas and then this without ever rescheduling those dates. Saw a recent photo of Joey, in all honesty he looks awful and not in shape whatsoever. It's sad all around but perhaps Kramer is his own worst enemy.

The Black Crowes? That's a pretty great opener to have along. That should be a really good show.

Looking at the schedule, they have 2 breaks built into that 40 show stretch: a 2 week break between the Sept 27th and Oct 11th shows and then a 17 day break between the Dec 10th and Dec 28th shows. So, it looks like they've tried to be smart and schedule in some time off. The longest stretch is the middle stretch of 21 shows from Oct 11th through Dec 10th with only the usual 3 days between shows and no extended breaks. The other two stretches are 9 to 10 shows each before a break.

I would have to believe that they would be planning a minimum of 4 more legs of the tour for 2024 and possibly into 2025: a South American leg, a Japan leg, a European leg and then a 2nd North American leg to hit some more U.S. cities and some Canadian cities, since there's only one Canadian date scheduled so far. So, I think they will be going for awhile, as there's just no way they can't do South America, Japan & Europe.

I suspect that is because there will be no Joey on the tour. If they had him in the video people would expect him to be playing every show... He's in the picture TM is displaying on it's event pages. Who knows with Joey? We can only speculate. He could have been asked but that could also be taken as a sleight. We just don't know. "Hey do a video with us and then get lost". I do hope they give him props on this tour though. A video tribute...? Somethin'. Time will tell. I had some faith that the five would get along one more time after many many goes and comebacks, specially since the tour seems to be "another last goodbye". Specially since the news were teasing Joey's return to the stages: " Aerosmith are rumored to soon be announcing a massive "40-plus" date North American tour. The band — which according to reports will include drummer Joey Kramer ( source)" and the interview of Joe stating that he was still part of the band. Having the original members was a very special thing about Aerosmith, much more special when there are so many big bands out there with just a couple of the main guys and plenty of hired musicians, like the Rolling Stones or GnR.

The prices floating around are crazy. $400 for the cheapest floor seat. It will be interesting to see what the actual prices are on Friday. I should know this since I have been to a zillion concerts, but does Ticketmaster generally post the prices prior to the tickets going on sale? I want to catch a few shows, but I am so tired of the games with scalpers, fluctuating prices and just pure greed in general.

I hope I look as healthy as he does when I'm 70. It's sad he wasn't even part of the video. But, we can only speculate, didn't they want him to be a part? Didn't he want to be a part? probably we'll never know.

If people are buying at 400, they'll put a few more out at 500. if they sell at 500, they'll trickle a few more out at 600. If people don't bite at 400 they'll lower em to 350. That's the platinum. Regular priced seats will probably sell out quickly and even though I'm always amazed that people actually do buy them, the VIP seats sell out pretty quickly too. It's the platinum seats that are the big game for them, and as a result us.

They are using the Springsteen pricing model to start with so these prices seem right for now. How well the top seats sell is anyone's guess.

The price for concerts is just absurd. It’s not just Aerosmith. It’s everyone. Asia and Europe seem to have it way better price wise

I agree concert prices in general are just ridiculous right now. Even taking that into consideration, at least based on the Louisville seating chart, tickets do seem overpriced. I can’t imagine demand being that high but I guess we’ll see.

No Joey even for a video? That was my first thought. He must be heartbroken.

Definitely a bit surprising, but maybe they've decided to finally get serious again and nail this thing. I believe they can do it.
