I would have to believe that they would be planning a minimum of 4 more legs of the tour for 2024 and possibly into 2025: a South American leg, a Japan leg, a European leg and then a 2nd North American leg to hit some more U.S. cities and some Canadian cities, since there's only one Canadian date scheduled so far. So, I think they will be going for awhile, as there's just no way they can't do South America, Japan & Europe. Absolutely. There is no way their last show would randomly be Montreal. They will take this everywhere as long as they're healthy.

The prices floating around are crazy. $400 for the cheapest floor seat. It will be interesting to see what the actual prices are on Friday. I should know this since I have been to a zillion concerts, but does Ticketmaster generally post the prices prior to the tickets going on sale? I want to catch a few shows, but I am so tired of the games with scalpers, fluctuating prices and just pure greed in general. I've noticed for the past while that ticket prices are NOT posted prior to the onsales anymore. I think it's a tricky way for Live Nation/TM/band to get people to impulse buy once they try for tickets.

The price for concerts is just absurd. It’s not just Aerosmith. It’s everyone. Asia and Europe seem to have it way better price wise That seems to be the case. Springsteen tickets for his current European tour were way cheaper than they were in North America.

I agree concert prices in general are just ridiculous right now. Even taking that into consideration, at least based on the Louisville seating chart, tickets do seem overpriced. I can’t imagine demand being that high but I guess we’ll see. I think they may have removed this. Not seeing any prices in Louisville.

Is anyone else disappointed in the lack of sentimentality to such a major announcement? I can’t tell if it’s band laziness, indifference, or whether this is just a marketing gimmick. 50+ years. It’s incredible. They’ve accomplished so much. No interview? No additional context. Just “here are the dates. Here are the prices. Have at it!” They don’t owe us anything, but they must know how much their music has meant to millions of people (maybe less now). Thought this was a good article variety.com/2023/music/news/aerosmith-rfarewell-tour-arenas-retiring-1235599387/

The article mentions the Peace Out trademark. How do they get that on such a generic oft used common phrase? Amazing. Maybe it is specific to a farewell tour only?

I was expecting a little more from the countdown clock. It seemed rather uneventful, but I sort of get it from their perspective. There is a lot of uncertainty and they don't have all the answers. As they've implied a few times before, they'll keep it going as long as they can. Announcing it as a retirement tour will get more attention, and I don't think it is really dishonest. They aren't locking down a final concert ever, but elaborating deeper on that becomes kind of grim, contrary to the excitement they are looking to bring with these shows. Just today Tim Bachman and Gordon Lightfoot were in the news heading up to the big gig in the sky. Their contemporaries are dropping like flies, and for many of them it was rock 'til they drop.

So these are the maps for Toronto and Montreal. For those with experience with getting tickets from ticketbastard, any chance of any other area but the pit being standing? That seems to be surrounded by the catwalk, I'm horrified to think what it might cost. Not like I could buy tickets from them anyway, they block visitors from certain geographic areas from accessing their website, had to ask other people to see what's behind the links.

KFC Yuk Center has them posted. It’s $500 face for the pit and near the stage. Goes down from there Note they appear to be selling tickets behind the stage. I only seen that for the hottest tickets - Springsteen and Pearl Jam

For Montreal, my guess is the Nord areas are all standing. But that is just a guess...

^Came here to post a screenshot with prices I received for that exact venue: You can probably multiply those prices by 2 to 2.5 for Boston and NY

I also think they're biting more than they can chew... a long tour which doesn't include Europe, Asia and south America which are all bigger markets for them than the US and Canada. Also arenas? Good luck selling tickets with those prices without Joey, no promo and the lawsuit giving them bad publicity.
Aero Vederci Baby at least had good videos promoting the tour with some irony. This is dead.

This is dead. I hear ya, but Queen is selling out 2 nights each in NY and Boston at similar prices with no Freddie. I don't know how it happens but there's a lot of money out there I guess.
